Turbot is “The King of Fish”. Rich flavoured, firm textured and widely considered as the best flat fish available. The texture is similar to halibut but has a more pronounced taste.
It retains plenty of moisture during cooking which means it’s used by cooks the world over. It goes well with creamy sauces and delicate flavours.
It’s a good source of Niacin, Vitamin B6, Magnesium and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Protein, Vitamin B12 and Selenium.
