Sea bass is farmed in the Mediterranean which is more affordable, and offers sea bass all year round.
The fish is great for stuffing and baking or grilling, or pan frying with the skin on. It has a delightful flavour that stands on it’s own, but also works well with stronger flavours.
Sea bass is an excellent source of protein, selenium and essential omega-3 fatty acids as well as vitamins B-12 and B-6.
